Policy |
Our policy is to provide, administer and maintain tennis courts and programs to serve the QH Community. A key element of this program is competitive team and league play. |
Pro shop supervision requirements |
For safety reasons, children under 15 must not be left alone in the pro shop at any time. They should also not be unsupervised on or around the tennis courts unless registered in an official clinic, camp, or lesson. These measures ensure the well-being of children and a secure environment. Violations of this policy may result in a fine and/or suspension of membership. |
Sign-in |
All property owners, property owner tenants, and guests desiring to use the tennis courts are required to sign in at the Pro Shop before beginning play when the Pro Shop is open. |
Guests |
Resident tennis players may bring guests to play tennis at the QH tennis facility. See QHRRP 7000-215 (Tennis Guest Policy). |
Attire |
Proper tennis attire is always required. Only smooth sole tennis shoes may be worn onto the courts. |
Time limits |
When there are persons waiting to play, play is strictly limited to 90 minutes for singles and 2 hours for doubles. The QH Tennis Director is empowered to enforce this rule. |
Reservations |
Tennis court reservations must be made by calling the Tennis Pro Shop or registering through https://www.tenniscores.com/home/index.html up to one week in advance.
Those persons desiring to make court reservations should be aware that the courts are lighted and that the lights run on timers that are set to turn off at 10:00 PM. In addition, court maintenance and watering are done daily between 12:00pm and 1:00pm. Court availability is limited during maintenance time. League Play, as well as Tournaments and other Special Events take precedence over any other play. |
Cancellations |
When a resident or member reserves a tennis court on Queen’s Harbour’s web-based court reservation system, that person must cancel the court 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time if they are not going to use the court. Cancellations can be made either on the website where the court was booked or by contacting the pro shop or the Tennis Director.
Failure to not cancel a court reservation will result in the following penalties:
In the case of inclement weather, you are not required to cancel the court |
Violations |
Violations may result in a fine being levied against the offending property owner by the Association. |
Question |
