Major repairs, outfitting, or refitting of vessels within the Lagoon System are prohibited. Minor repairs, mechanical adjustments, minor electrical work and minor touch-up painting by the owner of the vessel are permitted only for vessels normally berthed in the Lagoon. Power sanders and spray-painting in the open air is prohibited!
No work may be performed on the piers or the Harbor promenade of the Marina, which may result in damage, scarring, or staining of the surface of the piers, promenade, or trash receptacles, or which obstruct the passage of normal vehicular and pedestrian traffic. |
Contractors |
Owner shall not permit contractors or service organizations or individuals to undertake any work on the any Vessel in the Harbor Complex without prior notice and written approval of the Harbormaster. Such approval shall be contingent upon Contractor, service organizations or individuals having liability insurance and workers compensation insurance and providing verification thereof to the Harbormaster.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, QHYCC shall have no legal obligation to supervise, conduct follow-up checks, provide safety inspections, or to undertake any other action or obligation with respect to such contractors, service organizations, or individuals. |
