Policy
 Screen enclosures are permitted subject to approval of the ARB.  Screen Enclosures must be within the BRL if their form is like that of the house and they do not appear as an awkward appendage.  Screen enclosures must be…

  • designed as an extension of the house with roof and screen slopes, as applicable, like the house.
  • bronze or charcoal in color.

 

What to submit
 Property owners submit these documents to the ARB for approval…

  1. Architectural Review Application (QHFORM 5000/1).
  2. checks for the review fee, CIF and deposit.  See QHRRP 5000-020 (Schedule of Fees).
  3. scaled survey showing BRLs and location of enclosure.
  4. pictures of location of proposed enclosure.
  5. (2) sets of 24” x 36” plans that include exterior elevations to scale showing exterior material and roof pitches, roof slope, windows & doors, wall heights, aerial roof plan.
  6. landscape plan. See QHRRP 5000-335 (Landscaping Plan Submission Requirements).
