Policy
Satellite dishes and antennas are permitted subject to approval of the ARB.  Satellite dishes and antennas should…

  • be behind the home (If placement behind the home is not feasible and the dish and its supporting pole must be in the ground to function properly, approved landscape screening is required).
  • not exceed 36 inches in diameter.

Note:  Per Florida Statute 720.3045, owners and their tenants may install, display, or store any items on a parcel which are not visible from the parcel’s frontage or an adjacent parcel, including, but not limited to, artificial turf, boats, flags, vegetable gardens, clotheslines, and recreational vehicles.

What to submit
Property owners submit these documents to the ARB for approval…

  1. Architectural Review Application (QHFORM 5000/1).
  2. checks for the review fee, CIF and deposit.  See QHRRP 5000-020 (Schedule of Fees).
  3. a scalable survey with the existing main house structure, pools, fences, etc., shown and the proposed satellite dish and/or antenna location drawn on the survey.
  4. picture of proposed location of satellite dish on property.
