Policy
Property owners may display in a respectful manner up to two (2) of the following portable, removable flags, not larger than 4 1/2 feet by 6 feet…

  • The United States flag.
  • The official flag of the State of Florida.
  • A flag that represents the United States Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force, or Coast Guard.
  • A POW-MIA flag.
  • A first responder flag.
  • Decorative or themed flags.
  • Seasonal items displayed for less than 60 days in duration.

Note:  Any flag displayed must be within the BRL except for flags attached to a mailbox.  Political signs and flags are not allowed.

What to submit
If installing a flagpole in the ground, property owners submit these documents to the ARB for approval…

  1. Architectural Review Application (QHFORM 5000/1).
  2. checks for the review fee, CIF and deposit.  See QHRRP 5000-020 (Schedule of Fees).
  3. a scalable survey with the existing main house structure, pools, fences, etc., shown and the proposed flagpole location drawn on the survey.
  4. picture(s) of proposed location of the flagpole on the property.
