Definition
Vehicle definition includes, but not limited to…

  • Automobile
  • commercial vehicles
  • trailers
  • boats
  • motorcycles
  • golf carts
  • oversized or special vehicles (RVs, campers, house trailers)
Driveway parking
Per Florida Statute Ch 720.3045(b), driveway parking is permitted for property owners and tenants where lawfully allowed.

Within Providence Island (Unit 30), guests will be allowed to park vehicles overnight in the parallel parking spaces along Princess Kelly Drive and Providence Island Court and in the guest parking area at the end of Princess Kelly Drive.

Parking exception
Extra-long vans or campers, motor homes, motor coaches, boat trailers, house trailers, and trailers of any type are not permitted to park in driveways except…

  • short-term guests, but no longer than 5 consecutive days.
  • occasionally, but not more than 72 consecutive hours and not more than four (4) times per year.
Street parking
Street parking prohibited for….

  • vehicles parked on streets or common property between 2:00am and 7:00am without prior approval from the Property Manager.
  • resident vehicles (vehicles having Queen’s Harbour RFID Bar Codes) parked on the street between 2:00am and 7:00am in the parallel parking spaces or between 2:00am and 7:00am in the guest parking area at the end of Princess Kelly Drive.
  • vehicles parked facing the opposite direction of the flow of traffic.
  • vehicles blocking a driveway/sidewalk.
  • portable storage units (PODs, Dumpster, etc..).
  • vehicle repairs.
No parking
Parking is not permitted in driveways under these circumstances…

  • vehicles not in operable condition or do not have a current license tag.
  • vehicle repairs.

Note:  Automobiles or other vehicles (e.g., commercial vehicles, trailers, boats, motorcycles, golf carts, oversized or special vehicles) are not allowed to park on grass areas, mulched areas, or any natural area of a residential lot.

Violation
Violations may result in a fine being levied against the offending property owner by the Association.
