Purpose
The Anchor is the official newsletter of the Queen’s Harbour Yacht and Country Club Owners Association and serves the entire Queen’s Harbour community.
Content
Priority for content will be given to…

  • reporting community events, activities of Association approved community organizations, and other articles that directly affect the residents of Queen’s Harbor.
  • articles of general interest as space allows.

Due to space limitations, all articles are subject to editing.

Note: To be included in the monthly publication all articles and ads must be submitted by the 20th of the previous month. When community events take place, photographers may be present, and photos of participants may be used in this publication, as well as on the Queen’s Harbour Website and social media administered by the Association.

Advertising
Advertising in The Anchor is limited to 10 full page ads per issue. Paid advertising covers the cost of publishing the newsletter, while limiting the number of ads assures that they do not overwhelm content. Advertising in The Anchor follows these guidelines…

  • The price of an ad is $200 per issue with a minimum of 6 continuous months prepaid.
  • The ads will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. No competing ads will be accepted.
  • Prepaid ads will be run as submitted for the term of the prepaid agreement. Changes to ads are accepted if they are submitted to communications@qhycc.com by the 20th of the prior month.
  • Requests to sponsor The Anchor newsletter with advertising should be submitted via email to communications@qhycc.com with the business name and the name of a contact with their email address and phone number.

Note: The Association’s acceptance of advertising in The Anchor is not an endorsement or approval by the Association of any product or services. The Association reserves the right to refuse advertising that does not meet the standards of the publication.
