 Monolithic slabs are allowed as long as…

  • the finished floor elevation of the house is a minimum of 18 inches above the curb.
  • there is a minimum of 4 inches of step down from the main house to the front entry.
  • there is a minimum of 4 inches step down from entry to sidewalk or driveway.
  • the finished floor elevation of the main house is 12 inches above the finished grade.
